Resident Physician Training Corner

The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education requires psychiatry residents to be competent in CBT treatment before successful completion of training. Psychiatry training programs are faced with the challenge to teach, define, evaluate, and document competent resident CBT performance. The Academy is responding to this educational challenge by developing a forum for sharing training ideas and materials on the ACT website. This training link will highlight various strategies for CBT instruction and evaluation with a special focus on psychiatry residency training programs.

If you have CT information that you believe will advance the instruction of residents, please forward this information to Kim Coon at kim-coon@ouhsc.edu for consideration.
