Lecturer/Assistant Professor: Exeter University

Applications are sought for an open ended Academic post (equivalent to the level of Assistant Professor) in the area of Human Sciences (Psychology). Open-ended appointments normally run to retiring age which is currently 65. Applicants will provide academic leadership in teaching on the undergraduate and post-graduate programmes and to develop and sustain a strong research programme. The successful applicant will have a strong background in clinical psychology or psychology related to human health and disease. Applicants should have an honors degree in a related discipline and must hold a PhD in a field relevant to the post. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to develop internationally leading research that links with one or more of the College's research strengths. Salary will be on the salary scale range £30,013 - £36,912 ($58,440 - $71,873) with placement being subject to experience. The posts will be appointed to University of Exeter and the associated Terms and Conditions with include 41 paid days leave each year, professional development programme and associated staff benefits.
