General Membership (non-certified)
ACT now offers General Membership to professionals, researchers and students who support the use of cognitive behavioral therapy to treat mental health disorders and improve health behaviors and who are dedicated to increased access to evidence-based, cost-effective models of care. Our new levels of membership will promote CBT as an effective form of treatment, disseminate information from ACT certified clinicians in the field and enhance collaborative relationships amongst individuals who utilize CBT.

Research Scientist
ACT research scientist membership is suitable for cognitive behavioral therapy researchers who support the use of cognitive behavioral therapy to treat mental health disorders and improve health behaviors, and who are dedicated to increased access to evidence-based, cost-effective models of care. ACT professional colleague membership is suitable for professional colleagues who support the use of cognitive behavioral therapy in treating mental health disorders and improving health behaviors, are dedicated in increasing access to evidence-based, cost-effective models of care, and are working in the field of mental health, public health or health care.
